Every kid is fascinated by the world of wrestling- a sport which is a bit aggressive, even gory at times, but which has a legion og adherents. Followers of the sport have their favourite superstar wrestlers and they want to enumulate them in the six side ring. With TNA impact, you can do just that without hurting yourself or breaking anything around you. The action packed wrestling game by ZHavok and midway glues the gamer till he pins his opponent down.
Over 20 superstars from real TNA arena are included in the game. I though the game just had the arcade mode, in which the player pits himself either against the computer or another player. I found out there is also a story mode in which you are a wrestler who has already won the title of “TNA championship of world”. But you get beaten up and get a new identity. Here is where all the fun stars, creating your own player, you start fighting your back to the top.
There are plenty of other modes in the games to play. The game graphics are pretty cool and details of the characters and the ambience are very high. The sound too is quite close to real thing. The only thing the game lacks is controller vibrations. Playing the wrestling game without joypad jerks did take a bit of the fun out of the action.Nevertheless the game still manages to keep the player wanting to wrestle for gold glory and more.
