Canon HF11 Handycam

Love at first sight- this the camcorder for such an experience. The glossy black exteriors are to die for and being a flash memory camera, it manages to shed the flab at just 380 gms. Not only does it looks good, but the HF11 perform excellently too, both in regarding videos as well as taking still pictures. Like the rest of the canon camcorders we reviewed at our labs, the HF11 also supports full HD. It has a 3.3 MP sensor with optical zoom stabilisation that works very well at full 12X optical zoom. It has a 2.7inch LCD screen but no viewfinder,which is probably the only thing that may take away from the plus point of the HF11. It did, however, record a lot of nice when shooting indoors. Otherwise there is very little to complain about regarding its functions. Well placed keys, lot of connectivity options, including HDMI, function joystick, everything is has been designed and planned keeping ease of operation in mind. Videos and stills can be stored on the integrated flash memorywhich is seized at 32 GB. It also has an SDHC memory card slot for additional memory.

Canon HF100 Handycam

It’s a mid-level HD camcorder which is ver light to carry(380 gms). It’s slim and easy to work with because it has no memory on board. But cannon is charging a premium for keeping the camera slim and light on top that, users have to buy a SDH card for storing recordings. The HF-100 can be accomdate a high capacity storage card of up to 16GB , which may be costly, but is very candy.

Another reason why the HF100 is so costly for its class is because it has full HD functionlity. Videos shotwith the videocam was decent,though not as good as the HG20 for a mid HD segment,However, it proved a good competitor. Outdoor videos shot during the day were slighter better than indoor action. On a 16GB card,users can record two hours and 5 minutes of video. Still images can be shot at 2048 *1536 pixels. The onboard HDMI port enables the users to connect it.
