Adamo live up to its name. One look at it and you have emotions welling up deep within. In Latin, Adamo means “to fall in love with” and I certainly concur with Dell’s nomenclature for its new, super thin notebook. Dell has rolled out Adamo which at 0.65 inches is the slimmest of the lot.
A boxy rectangular chassis, alloy screws, a glossy black, brushed aluminum outer surface—and you are the cynosure of the crowd around you. Under the flip you get a big-keyed, backlit keyboard. The keys are specifically placed in a gentle arc to improve the comfort level of the user. The track pad is multi touch and you can use your fingers to zoom in or zoom out. The 13.4 inch LED screen has edge-to-edge glass which merges into the background, giving an illusion of a larger screen. The 16:9 aspect ratio will make lovers happy.
Inside the lustrous casing is the heart of an everyday machine, not a supercomputer. Intel has provided the brain for the machine wit its 1.4 GHz C2D Centrino processor. Two 2 GB of RAM, 128 GB SSD, Windows Vista Home Premium, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth sum up the technical specs. The battery s often the element that laptop users wish would never die out. Adam manages to keep the battery alive for a little above four hours with 50 percent brightness and normal handling.

The Archos 605 is one of the leading musical players available in the markets today. It has all the functions and features that a gadget can have. It has a very high capacity of about 30 GB. It can provide about 15 hours of nonstop music. And the head set that comes bundled up with this device can provide you clear and very high sound quality. Added to all these features Archos 605 has an inbuilt WIFI module. This can make you stay connected to the internet in the hot spots. The display is very clear and can support millions of colors in a very high quality. It has a PDF reader which makes the Archos 605 a portable eBook reader.
It has a five band equalizer in it and also a bass boost for adjusting the music according to the users choices. It also has a photo viewer which can display photos in a very good GUI. The battery life is pretty good when the Archos 605 is used as a music player, but when used a video player it seem to be bad. On the whole Archos 605 is a very good choice for buying when it comes to buying a higher end player

Samsung and Intrinsity today jointly announced the world’s fastest mobile processor core implementation of the dual-issue ARM Cortex-A8 processor architecture in 45 nanometer (nm) Low potential (LP), low leakage process technology. that Cortex-A8 implementation, code-named Hummingbird, delivers 2000DMIPS at 1GHz. The Hummingbird comes with 32KB each of input and instruction caches, an L2 cache, the size of which can be customized, and an ARM NEON multi-media extension.
A multi-Vdd /
multi-frequency design methodology was plus used to ensure the Hummingbird can run at a high speed even at the minimum supply voltage of 1.0V. The low potential consumption and the high operating clock performance build the Hummingbird an ideal processor core for use in advanced mobile devices. Performance and capability consumption of the Hummingbird have been validated in silicon. Samsung is currently developing standard mobile SoC products using that new core.
